Collection: Gold Star Family Salute

This collection is the most important one we have; it salutes those Families that have lost a loved one that gave their all. So many families are hurting from the loss of their loved one and we want to be a part of their healing. Only those that have been through this can understand. That is where we come in. As the founder of Pelican's Wharf and Lighthouse Family Ministry. My Family is a Gold Star Family, we lost youngest Son in Iraq in January of 2006.

Saluting Our Gold Star Families

We are a small team with a big calling—to change one life at a time through love, hope, and the power of faith.
This all started with a dream placed in our hearts many years ago. A vision to reach people who are hurting, searching, or simply needing a reminder that they’re not alone. It began with the loss of our son, Ryan—a hero who gave his life saving others while serving as a Marine. That sacrifice marked our hearts forever, and we knew we had to carry his legacy forward by helping others find healing, peace, and purpose.
But the road here wasn’t easy.
For years, I felt like Moses in the wilderness—believing in a promise I couldn’t yet see. I often wondered if I was crazy for holding on so long, for pouring time, prayer, and energy into something that wasn’t moving as fast as my heart hoped. There were moments of doubt, setbacks, and long seasons of silence. But I never let go of what I knew God placed inside me.
And now—after all the years of waiting and wandering—we are stepping into the promise.
What began as a few sketches and ideas has become a movement of hope. Every collection we’ve created—every shirt, mug, and print—carries a message meant to uplift, inspire, and point people back to what matters most: Faith, Family, and Freedom.
This isn’t just a business. It’s a ministry. A mission. A response to God’s call on our lives. Whether it’s honoring Gold Star Families, praying with strangers, or reminding someone that grace still abounds—every part of this project was built to serve others and glorify God.
If our work inspires even one person to dream again—then we’ve succeeded. Because too many people give up on their dreams. And that has to stop.
You are not forgotten. Your purpose still matters. And there is still time to build what God placed inside your heart.
